As many of you are aware DJI released a firmware update for the Smart Controller at the beginning of this month (October, 1).

This exciting update enables a QuickFly function that can be activated in settings. Once activated the remote controller will automatically power on to camera view (if already paired with the aircraft).

An added SkyTalk feature allows for shared live streaming broadcasts through third-party apps, directly from the aircraft.

The DJI Smart Controller boasts a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, providing ultra-bright display with a low-latency stream. With OcuSync 2.0 Full-HD video technology, the controller supports auto-switching between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz reducing environmental interface influence, ensuring reliable long-range transmission up to 10 km.

Follow this step-by-step guide to update your Smart Controller Firmware.
