Drone safety is deeply imbedded in the day-to-day operation of Drone Safe Register and Drone Safe Store. The ability to fly safely and legally is not as easy as some may think. This is why our UK network of drone experts are on hand to get you started. We value commitment to quality, which is why we work hard as a DJI drone retailer to offer you a bespoke service of un-paralleled knowledge before you take to the sky for the very first time. 

Drone registration was made mandatory by the Civil Aviation Authority in November 2019 (with renewals upcoming in November 2020). The process of registering a drone must now be completed before flying a drone that’s 250g to 20kg. The registration process requires anyone flying a drone over 250g to pass a theory test and register for an operator ID. All of our stocked DJI drones are marketed with Drone Registration symbols, making us the only UK retailer to inform buyers of this imperative process before proceeding to payment. 

Unfortunately, we estimate that hundreds of people are currently flying drones simply unaware that they need to be registered. Unfortunately if caught, they could be liable for a fine.
