The RS 3 Mini has been imaginatively redesigned to include a more compact form, an integrated battery, and native capability for vertical shooting. Because of the body's portability and compactness, which can fit into a shoulder bag, you may travel light. Because the RS 3 Mini occupies about half the space of the RS 3 Pro when in use, it is more useful for prolonged use.

The RS 3 Mini weighs just 795 g (1.75 lbs) when it is in portrait mode, which is around 50% less than the RS 3 Pro and 40% less than the RS 3. It only weighs 850 g when utilising the horizontal plate for firing (1.8 lbs). A concentrated centre of balance also provides a more stable and ergonomic hand-held experience.
