DJI Launches New Payloads for the Matrice 300 RTK
DJIs New Zenmuse L1 and P1 Payloads
DJI has today (14, October 2020) launched two new solutions for the Matrice 300 RTK commercial drone. Designed to meet the demands of some of the most complex aerial based surveying missions the Zenmuse L1 and P1 will without doubt change the game.
Compatible with both the Matrice 300 RTK and the DJI Terra, both models boast one-stop, post-processing.

The Zenmuse P1 combines a full-frame sensor and interchangeable fixed-focus lenses on DJIs signature 3-Axis stabilised gimbal with additional smart oblique capture this payload can cover 7.5 km in one workday boasting an incredible 45MP full-frame sensor and Global Mechanical Shutter.
Specifically designed for photogrammetry, this new payload takes efficiency and accuracy to the next level. With a full-frame, low-noise sensor that is able to capture photos every 0.7s in flight, this payload can cover up to 3km2 in one flight. With the added ability to create 2D and 3D detailed models the versatility of this payload is limitless.

With a Livox Lidar module and combined high-accuracy IMU, this payload works seamlessly to perform an all in one solution to real-time 3D data mapping. The 1-inch CMOS camera works with the 3-axis stabilised gimbal to efficiently capture the intricate details of complex structures, aiding in the delivery of accurate reconstructed models.
The IP44 rating allows efficient use of the L1 in night flight, rainy and foggy environments. With the ability to generate true-colour point cloud models in real-time, the L1 provides exceptional results.
Boasting 450m detection ranges the vertical accuracy stands at 5cm and the horizontal accuracy at 10cm providing a combined point rate of unparalleled accuracy at 240,000 pts/s.
