A filter cut for the wrong body either leaves gaps around the lens, letting light leak in and ruining the exposure control the filter is meant to provide, or it sits proud enough to catch the gimbal during movement. Every Freewell filter is Gimbal Safe, tested for weight and fit against the specific drone or camera it's designed for.

Which Pack Should You Buy?

Freewell typically offers each drone in two or three tiers:

  • Bright Day packs cover harsher, brighter conditions
  • All Day packs cover the full everyday range from overcast to bright sun
  • Mega packs combine the full range into one kit, including wide-angle and anamorphic lens options on some models, the choice for anyone shooting across varied conditions

Warranty and Care

Every Freewell product carries a limited lifetime warranty, protecting against everything except accidental damage caused while in your care. To make a claim, send a dated receipt naming the Freewell product along with your purchase invoice to our team, and we will handle it from there.

Each filter kit ships with a magnetic filter case and cleaning cloth, keeping filters organised and protected between flights. Coatings are dustproof, scratchproof, oilproof, and colour neutral.

Will a Freewell filter affect my drone's gimbal?

No. Every filter is Gimbal Safe, tested for weight and fit specifically against the drone or camera it's designed for, so balance and performance are unaffected.

What is the difference between Bright Day, All Day and Mega packs?
