DJI Zenmuse H30

H30 or H30T?

If your work involves hotspot detection, firefighting, search and rescue at night, or electrical inspection, you need the thermal sensor and the H30T is the right choice. For visual inspection, security overwatch, and daylight or illuminated night work, the H30 does the same job for a third of the price.
Zoom Camera
A 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with 40MP effective pixels, 34x optical zoom, and up to 400x digital zoom. Stabilisation is improved at telephoto range and focusing is faster than the H20 Series, holding clarity through the zoom rather than losing it at the far end. Target detail at 700m is noticeably better than the H20.
Wide Camera
A 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with 48MP effective pixels at a 24mm equivalent focal length, recording 4K video for up to two hours continuously. Smart Capture evaluates dynamic range and light intensity before the shot rather than after, which matters on high-contrast scenes.
Laser Rangefinder
Measures from 3m to 3,000m, with accuracy of 0.2m under 500m and 1m beyond it. Latitude, longitude, and altitude coordinates display in real time, so a point of interest can be logged without leaving the controller.
Night Operation
The NIR auxiliary light operates at 850nm, illuminating dark areas up to roughly 100m ahead. Night Scene Mode runs on both the wide and zoom cameras in full-colour or black-and-white, so the choice between a brighter image and a cleaner one is yours depending on conditions.
Controller Gestures
Three touchscreen controls on the DJI RC Plus speed up operation in the field:
- Click and Aim - double-tap a point of interest and the gimbal centres on it automatically.
- One-Finger Swap - press and hold until the cursor appears, then slide to adjust the gimbal angle.
- Three-Finger Slide - swipe down to hide the interface entirely and view the clean live feed.
Weatherproof and Built for the Field
Rated IP54 for dust and light rain resistance, with an operating range of -20°C to 50°C. Detachable via DJI SKYPORT mounting for quick payload changes between missions.

Does the H30 work with the Matrice 400?
Yes. It's compatible with the Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 300 RTK.
What's the difference between the H30 and H30T?
The H30T adds a 1280×1024 thermal camera as a fifth module. Everything else, wide camera, zoom camera, laser rangefinder, and NIR light, is shared between them.
Can I add thermal to the H30 later?
No. The thermal sensor is integrated, not modular, so it means buying the H30T rather than upgrading. Worth being certain about your thermal requirement before ordering.
Is DJI Care Enterprise included?
