DJI RC Is Now Compatible with the Mavic 3
The DJI RC is now available separately and is compatible with the DJI Mavic 3. The DJI RC's innovative design allows it to operate for up to four hours on a full charge and the built-in 5.5-inch FHD screen offers long-lasting brightness of up to 700 nits.
With a built-in screen, the DJI RC can instantly connect with your drone after turning it on, bypassing the need for a smartphone connection. This enables you to begin shooting straight away. It also has a microSD card slot and regularly used connections that make charging easy.
DJI RC Vs DJI RC Pro - Which is better?
The DJI RC Pro was designed for expert aerial pilots who want to observe every detail while flying. Because of its top-of-the-line processor and storage, the DJI RC Pro has a secure and reliable operating system. The DJI RC Pro is equipped with the potent Ocusync 3+ video feed technology, which inherits the DJI FPV's accurate control stick design for greater freedom and accuracy flying. With no loss of control, the DJI RC Pro elevates the flying experience. Videos up to 4K/120fps can be played on the DJI RC Pro. Additionally, it had a microSD card slot, a USB Type-C port, and a mini-HDMI port for charging, data storage, and video output.
The DJI RC Pro is compatible with the Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Cine and the DJI Air 2s.
In comparison, the DJI RC which came out with the DJI Mini 3 Pro features a 5.5-inch FHD Screen and it can do up to 700 nits for 4 hours. This means that if you are in broad daylight the DJI RC Pro may be a better choice as the screen is slightly brighter.
The DJI RC has an RRP of £255 which is game-changing compared to the £879 DJI RC Pro.
Which controller should you buy?
Both controllers are amazing for most circumstances but which one you go for will differ on your needs. For example, if you are a commercial drone operator you will most likely go for the brighter DJI RC Pro as it has a slightly brighter screen so you can view the screen in all situations. However if you are a hobbyist and you have the Mini 3, Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Cine you might choose the DJI RC as it’s not too expensive and it does everything you need it to.
