How To Capture The Perfect Sunset Shots With Your Drone
Choose A Good Location
If you want to capture the perfect sunset shot, you need to choose a good location. You'll want to find a place where the sun will set at its peak, so make sure to check out the forecast before heading out. Also, try to avoid areas with too much wind, as these can cause your drone to lose control.
Fly Low And Slow
Once you've found a suitable spot, you'll want to fly low and slow. This will allow you to capture the beautiful colours of the sky without being affected by any harsh shadows. It's also a good idea to use a wide-angle lens when taking photos of the sunset, as this will give you more room to work with.
Focus On The Subject
If you're looking at the camera while flying, you won't be able to see what's going on below you. Instead, focus on the subject and let the drone take care of the rest. You should also keep your arms relaxed so that you don't accidentally move the drone.
Take Off And Land Safely
Once you've taken off, make sure you fly safely by following these steps:
1) Keep an eye out for obstacles.
2) Fly slowly and steadily.
3) Avoid flying too close to people or animals.
4) Don't fly above 400 feet (120 meters).
5) Be aware of weather conditions.
6) Always land where you took off.
7) Never fly near airports or other restricted areas.
8) Make sure your battery is fully charged before taking off.
9) Check your drone's manual for additional safety instructions.
10) Practice safe flying!
ND Filters To Reduce Light
ND filters are designed to lessen the amount of light that reaches the sensor, which decreases the shutter speed of the camera. This results in a motion blur that seems more realistic smooths out the video, and lessens the appearance of "jello" effects caused by the camera's rolling shutter. The ND filters can also be used to tone down highlights while filming outside and to lessen lens flare when shooting into the sun.
What Drones Can You Get ND Filters For?
We have the DJI, Polar Pro and Freewell ND Filters available for most DJI Drones.
