DJI’s Avinox Electric Bike Is Kicking up Some Dust!
DJI Has Taken the Bike Industry by Surprise…
The father of all droning tech has taken multiple industries by surprise with its release of the new Avinox drive system and Amflow e-bike brand.
About DJI and Avinox
Most of our readers will be more than familiar with DJI, but their newest product has come as a surprise to many. DJI is world-renowned for its tech within the droning industry but has now entered a new realm with the launch of its first e-bike - the carbon fibre Amflow PL electric mountain bike.
DJI's Avinox Drive System will debut in the new Amflow PL, an e-MTB (electric mountain bike) that will be available later this year.
Avinox Features
It’s said that the ultra-lightweight e-bike contains tech typically used for smartphones and drones, meaning it can deliver real-time riding data, the bike's estimated range, and setup options thanks to a 2-inch colour OLED touchscreen. And, with DJI’s innovative dual Wireless Controllers, your handlebars stay steady while you stay in control.
The bike also links to the Avinox app, which lets you set up an anti-theft mode and checks the bike's real-time location. Riders can adjust the torque, power and cadence of the bike to suit their individual needs via the app.
With GaN 3x fast charging technology, riders can power up the 800Wh battery from 0% to 75% in just 1.5 hours, as well as charge their smartphone through the bike.
More time riding, less time waiting!
Why DJI?
DJI says its Smart-Assist Algorithm taps into various sensors to automatically adjust the amount of electric riding assistance it provides, based on your current riding resistance and style
There are four riding modes – Auto, Eco, Trail, and Turbo – plus a Boost mode for an emergency power surge. The two battery options, 600Wh and 800Wh, feature the latest fast-charging technology. This means the 800Wh battery can reportedly be charged from empty to 75% in about 90 minutes, similar to a DJI drone or smartphone.
