Drone Safe Repair Refresh is our in-house accidental damage plan, available on any drone bought directly from us and activated within 7 days of purchase. Cover costs up to 40% less than the equivalent DJI Care Refresh plan, and claims are handled by our own engineers in Chichester rather than routed through a manufacturer process. One successful repair or replacement is included per 12-month policy.

Cover Period and Claims

Policies run for 12 months from the date of activation, and one successful repair or replacement claim can be made in that period. Once a claim is completed, the policy is considered fulfilled and expires automatically. Repair Refresh must be purchased within 7 days of your original drone purchase, and is only available on drones bought directly from Drone Safe Store.

Repair Refresh vs DJI Care Refresh

Both cover collision, flyaway, and accidental damage. The difference is in how a claim is handled. DJI Care Refresh routes a claim through DJI's own process, with replacement units sent out from DJI. Repair Refresh keeps the claim in-house, assessed and repaired by our own team in Chichester, with the option to walk in and get it looked at directly rather than wait on a returns process. For anyone flying commercially, that turnaround difference matters more than the policy small print.
