DJI's first full-frame photogrammetry payload, pairing a 45MP full-frame sensor with a global mechanical shutter and interchangeable DL-mount lenses. Built for high-accuracy aerial surveying, covering up to 3km² in a single flight without ground control points.
Why the P1
- Achieve 3cm horizontal and 5cm vertical accuracy without ground control points, using TimeSync 2.0 to synchronise camera, flight controller, RTK module, and gimbal at the microsecond level.

Full-Frame Sensor, Interchangeable Lenses
A 45MP full-frame sensor (35.9 × 24mm) with 4.4μm pixel size delivers low-noise, high-sensitivity imaging that extends usable shooting time into lower light than a smaller sensor could manage. The P1 supports three DL-mount lenses, 24mm, 35mm (included), and 50mm, each with matched hood and balancing ring, so the payload can be configured for wide-area orthomosaics or tighter, more detailed oblique capture depending on the mission.
Smart Oblique Capture
Rather than flying separate passes for nadir and oblique imagery, the gimbal automatically rotates through five angles in a single flight, building the multi-angle dataset 3D reconstruction and urban modelling projects need without the extra flight time.
Data Verification in the Field
Check position data, image count, RTK status, and overall data quality immediately after landing, directly through DJI Pilot 2, rather than discovering a gap in coverage back at the office.

Does the P1 work with the Matrice 400?
Yes. It's compatible with the Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 300 RTK. On the Matrice 350 RTK or 300 RTK it mounts on the single downward gimbal connector only; on the Matrice 400 it can mount on the single connector or either port of the dual connector, though mapping accuracy is reduced if another payload shares the dual connector at the same time.
Does the P1 work with the Matrice 4 Series or Matrice 30 Series?
No, it's not compatible with either of those platforms.
Which lenses does the P1 support?
The DJI DL 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm F2.8 LS ASPH lenses. This listing includes the 35mm lens; the 24mm and 50mm are available separately.
Do I need ground control points with the P1?
