DJI RS 4 - Lightweight Camera Stabiliser

Feel the Focus

The DJI RS 4 commercial stabiliser is small and light, and it supports next-generation native vertical shooting. It also has better stabilisation performance, easier operation, and a wider range of accessories. It gives independent cinematographers a more professional and efficient way to work creatively and the tools they need to tell captivating visual stories.

Vertical Shooting

The new horizontal plate on the DJI RS 4 makes it possible for the second generation of native vertical shooting, which makes it easier to use and faster. You don't need any extra parts to switch from horizontal to vertical shooting; you can just remove the horizontal plate and secure it in the vertical position. This makes it easy to make videos in the vertical position.

Axis Lock

The automatic axis locks make it easy for the RS 4 to get to work or sleep mode quickly, which makes shooting, transitioning, and storing much more efficient. The axis locks also have smaller gaps when they are locked, which makes the gimbal shake even less.

Most seamless and stable balancing experience to date.

The DJI RS 4 is equipped with a Teflon™ coating on all three axes, which effectively decreases friction and enhances the balance for smoother operation.

The fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis can be used to achieve precise, millimetre-level balancing when changing cameras or lenses, by moving the camera forward or backwards.

The upper quick-release plate is equipped with an additional adjustable placement guide to guarantee a secure mounting of the camera.

Screen Lock Automation

The OLED touchscreen includes a novel auto-lock function. After being locked, the screen will show the current gimbal and joystick modes with reduced brightness. This feature not only serves to prevent unintended touches but also aids in preserving battery life.

Excellent Payload Capacity

The body is lightweight and can carry up to 3kg (6.6lbs) of weight. This device is capable of supporting popular mirrorless cameras and lens combinations, allowing for secure and comfortable handling with strong power.

In comparison to the previous iteration, the RS 4's tilt axis has been elongated by 8.5 mm, providing a larger area for balancing. This feature enables you to attach popular mirrorless camera and lens combinations, as well as accessories such as ND filters, thereby expanding the possibilities for creative expression.

Fourth-generation RS stabilisation algorithm

DJI has extensively enhanced the next-generation RS stabilisation algorithm to cater to various usage scenarios. It achieves an optimal equilibrium between the strength of stabilisation and the tactile sensation of camera movement, resulting in outstanding stabilisation performance and an improved user experience. In addition, the RS 4 provides a notable enhancement in stability during vertical shooting, effectively stabilising dynamic shots such as running or low-angle perspectives.

Wireless control using Bluetooth technology

The DJI RS 4 utilises Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology to enable remote control of the camera shutter and lens zoom. When in zoom control mode, you can utilise the joystick to manipulate Power Zoom for PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom, resulting in a genuine zooming experience. Pairing a camera is a one-time process that enables it to automatically and effortlessly reconnect afterwards.

Works Seamlessly With DJI Focus Pro Motor

The DJI RS 4, when used in conjunction with the DJI Focus Pro Motor, enables you to manipulate the lens focus using a dial and adjust the lens zoom using a joystick. This seamless operation facilitates effective lens manipulation.

Customisation of the trigger function

The trigger function can be configured to operate in FPV mode, wherein the gimbal's three axes track the movement of the grip's direction when the trigger is pressed and held. This feature is especially beneficial for capturing rotational footage or replicating a point-of-view perspective.

Gimbal Mode Switch

By activating the gimbal mode switch, you can swiftly alternate between PF (Pan Follow), PTF (Pan Tilt Follow), and FPV (First Person View) modes. To ensure the precision of the RS 4, you have the option to set the FPV mode to either 3D Roll 360 mode or Custom mode, depending on your shooting requirements.

RSA Communication Port

The DJI RS 4 features an RSA communication port that enables the attachment of accessories like the DJI RS Tethered Control Handle, as well as third-party control handles and remote-control ring handles. You can easily transition between various shooting configurations based on your artistic requirements.

The DJI RS SDK protocol enables third-party manufacturers and individual developers to create tailored features for the RS 4, allowing for a broader range of shooting needs to be met.

DJI RS BG70 High-Capacity Battery Grip

The addition of the BG70 High-Capacity Battery Grip to the RS 4 can increase the battery life to a total of 29.5 hours. Additionally, it has the capability to provide power to your camera and accessories using the USB-C port located at the bottom, with a maximum power output of 18 W.
