DJI RS 3 Mini

The DJI RS 3 Mini, the first Mini model in the RS series, is a compact, light-weight handheld stabiliser with a large payload capacity. It supports commonplace mirrorless camera and lens pairings and carries over the RS 3 series' exceptional stabilisation capabilities. Unleash your photographic potential and achieve simple professional creation with the DJI RS 3 Mini.

Portable and dependable

A Scientific Advance in a Small Package

The creative redesign of the RS 3 Mini incorporates a more compact construction, an integrated battery, and native support for vertical shooting. You can travel light thanks to the body's portability and compactness, which fits effortlessly into a shoulder bag. The RS 3 Mini is more practical for extended use because it is roughly half the size of the RS 3 Pro while in use.

Size reduced by 50%

Super Lightweight and Controllable

In Portrait mode, the RS 3 Mini weighs just 795 g (1.75 lbs), which is around 50% less than the RS 3 Pro and 40% lighter than the RS 3. When using the horizontal plate for firing, it only weighs 850 g (1.8 lbs). Furthermore, a focused centre of balance offers a more ergonomic and stable hand-held experience.

Effortlessly Powerful

The RS 3 Mini is best-in-class for its weight with a payload capacity of up to 2 kg (4.4 lbs), which enables it to carry larger setups like a Sony A7S3 + 24-70mm F2.8 GM lens with ease. It supports widely used full-frame or APS-C mirrorless cameras, allowing for a variety of camera and lens setups. With high-torque motors, the RS 3 Mini can continue to shoot steadily even when zooming to the maximum focal length on the majority of lenses without having to rebalance.

Specialist Stabilisation

The RS 3 Mini can deliver expert-level image stabilisation using the same fantastic 3rd-Gen RS Stabilization technology as the RS 3 Pro. Your photos stay steady whether you're moving quickly, taking a low-angle picture, or using the flashlight setting.

Beautiful camera movements

The distinctive dimensions and capabilities of the RS 3 Mini offer numerous opportunities for expressive camera movements and language. Additionally, it lessens the need to retake shots because of camera shake, enabling you to photograph and create with greater assurance.

New Dual-Layered Quick-Release Plate

An improved dual-layered quick-release plate has an upper plate with a curved positioning guide that stops the camera from turning and loosing its grip. The effectiveness of launch and storage is further improved by visible mounting and locking marks. Additionally, it adheres to the ARCA standard, making moving between tripods easy.

Native Vertical Shooting

On the RS 3 Mini, the RS series achieved a breakthrough in native vertical shooting. Instantly change to vertical without the need for extra attachments. Simply attach the common Quick-Release Plate to the gimbal's vertical arm to record social media-friendly content.

The gimbal rotation angle of the RS 3 Mini in Native Vertical mode is significantly increased when compared to portrait modes on other gimbals. Even the control layout is the same as in horizontal mode. Additionally, filming in the Underslung, Flashlight, and other operation modes is simple.

NATO Expansion Port

The NATO connector on the RS 3 Mini enables the attachment of extras like briefcase handles, external fill lights, and monitors, providing for more configurations and versatility.

Bluetooth Shutter Control

The Bluetooth shutter control that debuted on the RS 3 Pro is also included in the RS 3 Mini. This feature enables the RS 3 Mini to automatically reconnect with a camera after the initial pairing and supports popular mirrorless camera types.

After Bluetooth connectivity, you can use the record button on the gimbal to directly control your camera's video and photo capturing features. You can use the front dial on a Sony camera to directly control the optical or digital zoom of a supported digital lens, doing away with the requirement for a camera control cable.

Gimbal Mode Switch Button

To switch between PF (Pan Follow), PTF (Pan and Tilt Follow), and FPV mode, use the M button. On the touchscreen, photographers may adjust the RS 3 Mini's follow speed and other settings for a more fluid and user-friendly shooting experience.

1.4" Full-Color Touchscreen

The 1.4-inch full-colour touchscreen on the RS 3 Mini has a redesigned user interface. Most settings may be changed without an app, and common options are easy to find and use.

Front Dial Focusing

The DJI RS 3 Mini has an ergonomic front dial that can be rotated to change the focus, ISO, aperture, shutter, and other settings. For more effective solo shooting, use the front dial to control the motion of the gimbal's three axes.

Shoot for 10-Hours Straight

The built-in battery grip has a runtime of up to 10 hours, which is long enough to adequately cover the shooting requirements of all-day use. Get back to shooting in just 2.5 hours by charging your RS 3 Mini. It is even functional while charging.
