2nd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting

Second-generation native vertical shooting is made possible by the innovative horizontal plate design of the RS 4 Pro, providing even greater efficiency. Without requiring any extra equipment, cinematographers can easily switch from horizontal to vertical shooting by just releasing the horizontal plate and locking it into place. 
 

Efficient Equilibrium

With two rolling bearings on the roll axis, adjustments are now simpler.

Because of the low coefficient of friction of the TeflonTM coating on all three axes, the balancing maintains its smoothness even when mounting heavy cameras.

When switching lenses or cameras, you can achieve precise millimetre-level balancing by shifting the camera forward or backwards using a fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis.

The upper quick-release plate now has an adjustable placement guide to provide additional security against the camera loosening or shifting.

Automatic Screen Lock

The OLED touchscreen has a new auto-lock feature that prevents accidental touches while shooting. By displaying the joystick and gimbal modes at a low brightness, power consumption can be minimised even when the screen is locked.

The efficiency of shooting, switching, and storing is significantly increased by the DJI RS 4 Pro's next-generation automated axis locks, which allow it to quickly transition to sleep mode or start operating. Additionally, the axis locks have been refined to result in smaller gaps, which reduces gimbal shakes even more when locked.

After it has been balanced, the DJI RS 4 Pro provides more power redundancy thanks to a 20% increase in motor torque over three axes. This ensures that the gimbal will track movements accurately and responsively even when using large cameras or a lot of accessories.
