High Payload Capacity
Featuring carbon fibre axis arms, the DJI RS 4 Pro can carry up to 4.5 kg (10 lbs) of payload and has strong power and torque, making it suitable for most common mirrorless and cinema lens configurations.
Native 2nd-Gen Vertical Shooting
RS 4 Pro's revolutionary horizontal plate design allows for second-generation native vertical shooting for even higher efficiency. Cinematographers can effortlessly transition to vertical shooting by simply releasing the horizontal plate and securing it into the vertical position, all without the need for additional accessories.
Smooth Balancing
Adjustments are made easier now that the roll axis has dual rolling bearings.
The TeflonTM coating on all three axes has a low coefficient of friction, so even when mounting heavy cameras, the balancing remains smooth.
A fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allows you to exact millimetre-level balancing by moving the camera forward or backward when changing lenses or cameras.
For added security against the camera loosening or shifting, an adjustable placement guide has been added to the upper quick-release plate.
Auto Screen Lock
A new auto-lock feature on the OLED touchscreen stops unintentional touches while shooting. Even with the screen locked, power consumption can be minimised by displaying the joystick and gimbal modes at a low brightness.
Automated Axis Locks, Second Gen.
The DJI RS 4 Pro's next-generation automated axis locks enable it to quickly switch to sleep mode or begin operating, greatly improving the efficiency of shooting, transitioning, and storing. The axis locks have also been improved to produce smaller gaps, which further lessens gimbal shakes when locked.
Superb Stability, Outstanding Parameters
With a 20% increase in motor torque over three axes, the DJI RS 4 Pro offers more power redundancy after it is balanced. This guarantees that even when using bulky cameras or numerous accessories, the gimbal will track movements with accuracy and responsiveness. It also has enough power to enable gimbal stabilisation in a range of shooting conditions.
Mounting Mode for Cars
In order to enable steady capture even in unsteady conditions, the new Car Mount mode optimises the gimbal stabilisation algorithm based on vehicle vibrations and wind resistance data.
Fourth-Generation RS Stabilisation Method
For various use cases, the next-generation RS stabilisation algorithm has undergone extensive optimisation. It provides excellent stabilisation performance and an improved user experience by striking a superior balance between the tactile feel of camera movement and stabilisation strength. Furthermore, the RS 4 Pro offers noticeably improved vertical shooting stability, making it simple to master dynamic shots like low-angle or running perspectives.
DJI Focus Pro LiDAR Autofocus
Cinematographers working alone can now enjoy more accurate, distant, and intelligent LiDAR autofocus with the all-new Focus Pro LiDAR and Focus Pro Motor when combined with RS 4 Pro. This gives them exact control over how their shots are expressed in dynamic situations.
Next Generation ActiveTrack
The new Focus Pro LiDAR and AI algorithms work with the next-generation ActiveTrack Pro to keep the RS 4 Pro's three-axis gimbal on your subject. The subject can quickly move and stay in focus even if it is briefly hidden. ActiveTrack Pro also does a great job of recognising and following subjects when there are more than one of them or when the subject is far away.
The DJI Focus Pro Motor
The DJI RS 4 Pro has a new joystick mode switch that lets cinematographers use the joystick to control either the movement of the gimbal or the zoom of the lens. It can do Power Zoom for PZ lenses, Clear Image Zoom, and external focus motor zoom when used with the Focus Pro Motor in zoom control mode. This makes focusing native, precise, and easy.
Lens Control for High-Efficiency
When used with two Focus Pro Motors, the DJI RS 4 Pro lets cinematographers precisely control the focus by turning the dial and adjusting the lens zoom with the joystick. This makes lens control smooth and easy.
The DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit
DJI Focus Pro adds new LiDAR autofocus technology and the Focus Pro Hand Unit, a high-precision magnetic-damping manual control unit.
