DJI Care Refresh: Official Protection Plans for Your DJI Drone or Camera

DJI Care Refresh is DJI's own accidental damage protection plan, covering collision damage, water damage, flyaways, and natural wear that a standard warranty does not. Drone Safe Store sells Care Refresh as an instant digital code across the current DJI range, alongside our own Drone Safe Repair Refresh for drones specifically.

What Does DJI Care Refresh Cover?

Every Care Refresh plan covers the same four things: collision damage, water damage, flyaway, and natural wear.

  • A 1-Year plan on a camera drone gives 2 replacements, 1 maintenance service, and a 15% discount on selected DJI products
  • A 2-Year plan gives 3 replacements across the two years, 2 maintenance services, and the same 15% discount
  • DJI Care Express skips the damage assessment and quotation process, so once DJI receives your damaged product and you've paid the replacement fee, a replacement ships immediately
  • Stay claim-free across your plan and DJI adds an extra year onto your warranty automatically, so a 2-year plan can end up covering you for 3

Buying Care Refresh: What You Need to Know

Activation window. For a brand new drone, Care Refresh must be activated within 48 hours of the drone itself being registered, or it cannot be bound to the aircraft. If you miss this, contact DJI directly, they may still be able to bind it manually.

Delivery. Every plan is a digital code, emailed to you the moment your order completes.

Extending your plan. A 1-Year plan can be extended for a further year, giving you a second year of cover without needing a fresh 2-Year purchase. Full terms are on DJI's Care Refresh Plus page.
