Emlid Corrections

Intro

Emlid Corrections is an RTK correction service built into Reach receivers and the Emlid Flow app. Selecting it as your correction source gives a fixed solution in seconds, with no base station to set up and no third party NTRIP account to manage.

The service runs on the Point One Navigation network using a virtual reference station approach. Rather than pulling corrections from a single physical base, the network builds a virtual base at your position from surrounding reference stations, so accuracy holds steady as you move across a site or between sites.

Every eligible Reach receiver includes a full year of Emlid Corrections at no cost, including receivers you already own. The licence starts when you activate it in Emlid Flow.

Why Operators Use It

• Fix in seconds without carrying, levelling or logging a base station on every visit.
• Hold 1 to 2cm accuracy horizontally and vertically across the covered area, rather than watching accuracy drift as you move away from a single base.
• Run multiple rovers on the same network, each on its own licence, with no base to share and no shared account to manage.
• Cross regional boundaries on one licence, instead of opening separate network accounts for each area you work in.
• Switch correction source at any point between Emlid Corrections, radio link and standard NTRIP, directly in Emlid Flow.

How It Works With Drone Survey Workflows

Ground control and checkpoint capture is where this matters most for aerial teams. Corrections feed the Reach receiver on the pole, so control targets and independent checkpoints can be captured to survey grade accuracy before and after the flight without setting up a base first.

For a DJI Matrice 4 Series or DJI Matrice 400 mapping mission, that means the block can be constrained to real coordinates and the deliverable checked against measured points rather than assumed accuracy.

The service supplies corrections to the Reach receiver. Aircraft RTK corrections are handled separately, through the D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station or an RTK network subscription.

Coverage

Emlid Corrections is available across the UK, the United States, much of continental Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with the network expanding as Point One adds stations. Coverage is not uniform within those regions, so check your working area on the Emlid coverage map before relying on it for a project.

A mobile data connection is required while you work, as corrections are delivered over the internet.
