DJI SKYPORT V3 Coaxial Cable Kit

Signal and power transmission between the Skyport V3 Adapter and a third-party payload, with coaxial construction cutting electromagnetic interference that a standard cable run would otherwise introduce into sensitive PSDK integration work. Built for developers and engineers working through DJI's Payload SDK on the Matrice 400 platform, this kit is the physical connection a custom payload build depends on between the adapter and the device actually being integrated.

What It's For

This cable kit connects a third-party payload to the Skyport V3 Adapter on a Matrice 400, carrying both signal and power across that connection with reduced electromagnetic interference compared with standard cabling. Defined pin configurations support custom payload design directly, giving a development team stable data and power transmission to build and test against rather than working around an undefined connection standard.

Requires the Skyport V3 Adapter

This kit works exclusively with the Skyport V3 Adapter Set, sold separately, which provides the actual interface on the Matrice 400 that these cables connect into. Ordering both together avoids a payload integration project stalling halfway through on a missing adapter.

Safety Notes Worth Building Into a Payload Design

Designing a heat sink and metal enclosure into the finished payload around the adapter board is worth planning from the outset rather than retrofitting once a prototype's already built. Running all three XT30 power output ports simultaneously requires their combined output to stay below the aircraft's maximum single-port output, a limit worth checking against a payload's actual power draw before finalising a design. Power should be switched off immediately if sparks, smoke, a burning smell or any other abnormality appears after powering on the adapter board.

Compatibility

Confirmed for the DJI Matrice 400 series, used alongside the Skyport V3 Adapter for PSDK payload integration. Checking both the aircraft and the adapter against a project's actual setup before ordering avoids a cable kit that has nothing to connect to.
