Rather than replacing the primary O4 video link, the dongle runs alongside it. If the main signal is obstructed by terrain, buildings, or interference, 4G connectivity takes over to maintain control and telemetry, reducing disconnection risk on missions where line of sight is difficult to guarantee throughout.
