Designed for travel photography, DJI Air 3S pairs a suite of innovative technologies in a dual-camera drone. Using a 1-inch-CMOS primary camera and a 70mm medium telecamera, Air 3S records landscapes, portraits, and more in amazing clarity at up to 14 stops of dynamic range. Both cameras support the new Free panorama capability and allow flexible shooting ranges. Another new highlight is nightscape obstacle sensing and next-generation Smart RTH for maximum safety during nighttime photography. Every aerial moment in all conceivable ways is supposed to be maximized by DJI Air 3S. 

Dual Cameras

DJI Air 3S consists of a 1-inch-CMOS primary camera and a 1/1.3-inch-CMOS medium telecamera. The main camera ideal for capturing a wide field of view and clear expansive scenery is a larger CMOS sensor and a 24mm lens. The 70mm media telecamera shines at portrait and vehicle views with its compressed depth of vision to accentuate any subject with a more forceful, cinematic look.

1-inch CMOS Main Camera: Incredible Travel Photography Detail

The primary camera of DJi Air 3S combines a 50MP 1-inch CMOS sensor, supporting 4K/60fps HDR and 4K/120fps video recording as well as 10-bit D-Log M colour mode. Improved by sophisticated image-processing technology and intelligent algorithms, this large sensor preserves even minute details in low-light environments such sunsets and nightscapes, so producing simply, effortlessly beautiful images.

Medium Tele Camera: Remarkable Images

Complementing the main camera, the medium tele camera's 48MP 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor supports the same video specs and colour ranges. This guarantees aesthetically consistent video for simplified post-processing. Its 70mm lens highlights your subject by providing 3x optical zoom, which lets you get original views from a distance. You can easily get detailed and expressive close-up images when you use Air 3S to orbit around a subject and record a 4K video.

Free Panorama Mode

Using a manually selected subject or area, free panorama mode on both the main camera and medium telecamera of DJI Air 3S lets you stitch together several images producing seamless panoramic views. Greater panorama photo capture efficiency comes from the wide-angle camera's larger FOV. The medium telecamera greatly lowers image distortion and shapes your masterpieces into expansive views with a wide perspective from several photos and rich details captured through its focal length advantages.

DJI Air 3S also supports user-favorite features including 2.7K vertical shooting, MasterShots, QuickShots, and others using a large creative toolkit gathered in one small drone.

Omnidirectional Obstacle Avoidance

The DJI Air 3S is equipped with Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS), utilizing six vision sensors (two each at the front, rear, and bottom) along with downward infrared time-of-flight (ToF) sensors. As the first DJI drone to feature forward-facing LiDAR, it offers enhanced nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing. During both flights and return paths, this system allows the Air 3S to intelligently detect and avoid obstacles, such as buildings, ensuring maximum safety for nighttime photography.

Next-Gen Return to Home

The DJI Air 3S takes safety a step further with its advanced Return to Home (RTH) feature, driven by real-time vision positioning and map-building technologies. It memorizes flight paths when there is adequate lighting, guaranteeing a safe return even from challenging locations like balconies or areas without satellite signals. With its forward-facing LiDAR and low-light vision sensors, the Air 3S can also detect obstacles, including high-rise buildings, and navigate around them, ensuring secure returns even at night.

Enhanced Visual Aid

The DJI Air 3S’s Vision Assist system extends your view beyond the typical front, rear, left, and right perspectives, providing a downward view to help you better understand your surroundings. This added layer of visibility, combined with features like Waypoint Flight and Cruise Control, lets you pre-set flight paths and camera actions, giving you the freedom to focus on your creative vision without distraction.

Subject Focusing

Whether you're manually controlling the drone or following a moving subject, the new Subject Focusing tool on the DJI Air 3S ensures that your subject remains sharp and clear. This feature allows you to concentrate on the artistic aspects of your shots, such as camera movement and composition, without worrying about losing focus.

45-Minute Flight Time

With up to 45 minutes of flight time, the DJI Air 3S gives you ample opportunity to scout locations, set up your shots, and capture the perfect moments—repeatedly, without interruption.

O4 Video Transmission in 10-bit

Powered by DJI O4 FHD video transmission technology, the Air 3S delivers 10-bit video at 1080p/60fps over distances of up to 20 kilometres. This ensures ultra-responsive control and clear, vivid live feeds, enhancing your overall flight experience and bringing your footage to life with rich colour and detail.
