DJI Air 3 (RC-N2)

Double Up

The DJI Air 3 is a compact drone with the ability to fold up, and it comes equipped with two powerful cameras: one with a wide-angle lens and the other with a 3x medium telephoto lens. Take advantage of journeys that have been optimised by having a maximum flight time of 46 minutes, obstacle recognition in all directions, and O4 video transmission. Capture images with a resolution of up to 48 megapixels and films in 4K HDR that reveal every breathtaking detail of any given situation. You have complete creative control over the way you film your subjects and the powerful visual narrative you create with Air 3.

System Comprised of Two Primary Cameras

The Air 3 is the first model in the Air range to have a dual-primary camera system. It has a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x medium tele camera, all of which are housed in a chassis that is slim and compact. Both cameras have sensors of the same size, but their focus lengths differ significantly. This indicates that the image quality is unaffected and that there is an expansion of the available options for recording moving images.

Complementary Camera System

You will be able to obtain a more accurate representation of big areas with the wide-angle camera.

Additionally, the 3x medium tele camera comes equipped with an optical zoom that is 3x and does not take up any additional space. This provides you with an original perspective on any topic.

Iconic from Every Possible Perspective

Record more of a scene by making use of the wide-angle camera's expansive field of view (FOV). To bring out the most detail in any shot, switch to the 3x medium telephoto lens.

Dual-Camera 48MP Photos

Both cameras can produce photographs with a resolution of 48 megapixels that are rich in true-to-life details, have an appealing appearance, and provide smooth cropping in post-production for those who require it.

Dual-Camera 4K/60fps HDR Videos

Both of the CMOS cameras found on the Air 3 have a resolution of 1/1.3 inches and can support dual native ISO. This means that 4K video at 60 frames per second and HDR can be transmitted straight without cropping. This translates to the fact that video captured by either camera has the potential to be full of vibrant colours and natural shifts in lighting, producing results that are visually attractive as well as highly accurate.

Both cameras offer 10-bit colour settings that can be changed to D-Log M or HLG. Highlight and shadow information are maintained in 10-bit D-Log M mode, allowing for greater editing flexibility. The 10-bit HLG mode offers a greater dynamic range, which results in better photographs that do not require any colour correction.

Outstanding Flight time

The flight time of the Air 3 is 46 minutes, which is a 48% increase over its predecessor. Exploration, tweaking compositions, and getting the shots you desire may all be accomplished in a single flight.

The recently developed battery charging hub allows for the transfer of power. In situations where there is limited space for charging, pressing and holding the function button will allow you to transfer power from multiple batteries to the battery that has the most power.

Detection of Obstacles in Every Direction

Air 3 can locate items in any direction thanks to its omnidirectional sensing technology, which also provides it with a complete image of its surroundings. When obstacles are spotted, Air 3 can employ APAS 5.0 to make their movements smoother to navigate around them, which makes the flight in its entirety safer. Even those who have never been in an aeroplane before can now experience a sense of self-assurance and experiment with novel ideas in a less dangerous setting.

OcuSync 4.0 Video Transmission

The O4 video transmission method, which is next-generation technology, provides Air 3 with a much-improved capacity to broadcast and receive video. It has a range of up to 20 kilometres, improved stability, and a live stream with a maximum quality of 1080p/60 frames per second, which makes watching and operating incredibly smooth.

Intelligent Return To Home

During the Smart RTH phase, Air 3 will automatically calculate an optimal flight path for Advanced RTH while maintaining omnidirectional object sensing. This will allow the drone to return to its home point as swiftly and safely as possible.

Intelligent Features On DJI Air 3

FocusTrack helps you centre your subject. The 3x medium tele-camera compresses space when focusing. With improved tracking and object identification, you can capture smart, well-planned shots anywhere.

QuickShots

QuickShots offers Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Boomerang, and Asteroid camera movements for the Air 3.

Shooting in 2.7K Vertical

Landscapes and other subjects seem highly vibrant in vertical format because of the 2.7K vertical shooting capabilities of both Air 3 cameras. You can obtain clips that are ideal for viewing on a smartphone and prepared for sharing on social media without having to crop them first thanks to the 2.7K vertical shot output from the 4:3 CMOS.

MasterShots

MasterShots enables the Air 3 to automatically move the camera in various directions, capture numerous clips, and edit them with music, cuts, and effects to create dramatic footage that is quick and simple to produce.

Waypoint

For the first time, Waypoint is accessible on the Air series. To achieve difficult camera movements and breathtaking one-takes, plan the flight pathways and filming activities for Air 3 in advance. Additionally, you can record flight paths so that you can return to the same location at a later time or date. This enables the capture of lengthy timelapse images that display shifts such as day to night or season to season.
