Broadcast Modes
- Record and Broadcast - record a message in DJI Pilot 2 and transmit it instantly, with local playback and recording storage for rapid communication without extra kit.
- Text-to-Speech - type a message in the app and have it read aloud, with adjustable tone, speech rate, and loop playback.
- Audio File Playback - load pre-recorded files in MP3, AAC, or WAV format and play them mid-flight.
- Real-Time Broadcasting (Matrice 400 only) - speak live through the DJI Pilot 2 app, with an integrated anti-howling algorithm keeping the audio clear.
Weatherproof and Built for the Field
Rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, with an operating range of -20°C to 50°C. At 690g and 134 × 119 × 140mm, it fits inside a standard Matrice carrying case. Speaker temperature protection, overcurrent protection, and power protection guard the internal components, and the plastic shell stays below 50°C in use.

Does the V1 work with the Matrice 400?
Yes, and it performs meaningfully better on it. Broadcast range extends to 700m, output reaches 129dB, and several features (real-time live broadcasting, six-language text-to-speech, simultaneous file transfer, and Intelligent Volume Adjustment) are Matrice 400 exclusives not available on the 350 or 300 RTK.
Can I use the V1 alongside a camera payload?
Yes. Gimbal synchronisation matches the speaker's tilt angle to the camera's view, so audio is directed at whatever is being observed. Note that with the H20 or H30 series at 35x zoom or above, speaker vibration can affect image stability, reducing volume or adjusting the gimbal angle to less than -60° helps.
Are there legal restrictions on using a drone speaker?
Possibly, depending on where you operate. Drone-mounted public address use can be subject to local noise ordinances, privacy rules, and public-address regulations. Worth checking your local authority's position before deploying operationally.
