DJI Matrice 4TD Standalone Combo
The most capable aircraft in the Matrice 4 range: the 4D's IP55-rated, Dock 3-ready airframe paired with the 4T's thermal payload. Built for search and rescue, tactical operations, and infrastructure inspection where visibility and reliability matter equally, and fully deployable today without needing a Dock 3 in place.

This Standalone Combo does not include flight batteries. Add the DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery separately before you can fly. Our team can confirm exactly how many you'll need based on your operation.
Built for Dock 3 or Standalone Deployment
- Withstand dust, rain, and harsh field conditions with IP55-rated protection, rather than standing down for marginal weather.
- Operate from -20°C to 50°C, covering demanding conditions across the working year.
- Transmit up to 25km unobstructed (12km under CE regulations) on O4+ Enterprise.
- Deploy immediately with the included RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller, no Dock 3 required, with the option to add automated dock operation later.
Thermal Imaging
A 640 × 512 uncooled VOx thermal camera measures temperature from -20°C to 150°C in high gain mode, or 0°C to 500°C in low gain mode, with accuracy of ±2°C or ±5°C depending on the mode. Infrared super-resolution lifts thermal video to 1280 × 1024, and an NIR auxiliary light with a 5.7° field of view extends illumination for night operation.
AI-Assisted Flight Operations
The onboard AI model identifies vehicles, vessels, and people automatically, useful for search and rescue and tactical operations where tracking a subject manually costs time. Four modes build on this:
- Deploy Smart Track to keep the camera locked on a moving subject without manual gimbal input.
- Use POI (Point of Interest) to circle a fixed structure or location automatically.
- Run Cruise mode on long transects, holding a set direction without constant stick input.
- Set FlyTo to send the aircraft directly to a mapped coordinate.
Camera System: Wide, Medium Tele, and Tele
- The 48MP wide camera (f/1.7) handles general capture and low-light work.
- The 48MP medium tele camera resolves fine detail from a safe working distance.
- The 48MP tele camera reads detail from up to 250m away, with 16x digital zoom (112x hybrid).
Low-Light and Night Vision Performance
Low-light fisheye omnidirectional sensors handle obstacle detection in the dark, and Night Scene Mode supports both full-colour and black-and-white night vision, useful when a search or inspection can't wait for daylight. Combined with the thermal sensor, the 4TD gives a dual-view picture of a scene rather than relying on visible light alone.
Laser Rangefinder
The integrated laser rangefinder measures up to 1800m at 1Hz, with a blind zone of 1m. Point, draw a line, or mark an area directly in DJI Pilot 2 for an instant distance or area reading, useful for logging a search perimeter or inspection point on-site.
DJI Care Enterprise Plus
One year of DJI Care Enterprise Plus comes included and activates automatically on purchase, no separate activation code or manual binding required. Cover includes unlimited repairs within the annual coverage limit, up to two battery replacements per year, and free mail-in repair and return shipping. Renewal is available for a fee once the first year expires.

Why aren't batteries included in this combo?
The Standalone Combo is priced and configured for buyers specifying battery quantity separately, often for Dock 3 deployment where the number of batteries depends on the site. Add the DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery at checkout, or call us to confirm how many you need.
What's the difference between the Matrice 4TD and 4T?
The 4TD combines the thermal payload of the 4T with the IP55-rated, Dock 3-compatible airframe of the 4D, including an 80° upward gimbal tilt and improved wire-detection capability. The 4T uses the standard non-docked airframe.
Does DJI Care Enterprise Plus need activating separately?
No, it activates automatically on purchase. No code or manual binding is required.
Do I need a DJI Dock 3 to use this aircraft?
No. It flies standalone with the included RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller today, with the option to add Dock 3 automation later.
Do I need a licence to fly the Matrice 4TD commercially in the UK?
Yes. At this weight, you'll need an Operator ID and a GVC for commercial operation. Our team can talk you through the requirements before you buy.
