DJI Focus Pro Creator Combo

A new era of collaborative focus control between humans and machines is brought about by DJI Focus Pro, the company's first autonomous Automated Manual Focus (AMF) lens control system. It offers cinematographers a reliable and all-inclusive focus solution.

All-New Grip, All-Around Capability

The newly designed DJI Focus Pro Grip features a 2.5-hour system power supply, intuitive screen operations, auto-calibration and data storage for 15 lenses, Bluetooth start/stop recording, and handheld shooting capabilities, offering an exceptional LiDAR focusing experience, even without a Ronin stabilizer.

‌Further and Wider Focusing

With the extended LiDAR human-subject focus distance of 20 meters—roughly three times that of the previous generation—telephoto lens shooting is now easily handled.
Creative freedom is greatly enhanced by a super-wide focus FOV of 70°, which makes edge compositions and close-up shots easy to achieve.

More Accurate and Stable Focusing

With 76,800 ranging points, the upgraded LiDAR outperforms the previous generation by 77%, improving human-subject edge detection and minimising focus hunting. Furthermore, even when the subject is moving quickly, focus consistently locks on thanks to a 30 Hz LiDAR refresh rate.

Adaptable Mixes for Various Situations

The four main modules that make up Focus Pro are the LiDAR, Motor, Grip, and Hand Unit. Cinematographers are able to mix and match these modules according to various shooting requirements.

LiDAR autofocus can help lone cinematographers shoot scenes more efficiently and produce visually striking shots. By precisely controlling focus with the Hand Unit, collaborative teams can enhance the visual storytelling with more depth. Focus Pro is a powerful tool that can handle a wide range of shooting situations and genres.

Focus You Can Feel

The focus knob on the Hand Unit or the front dial on the Grip both rotate concurrently with the autofocus when in AMF mode. Cinematographers are now able to make timely decisions about when to manually intervene by being able to visually observe the focus status on the monitor and intuitively perceive the autofocus logic through tactile feedback from their fingertips.

Millisecond-Level Manual and Automatic Switching

Manual focus control can be activated and deactivated in milliseconds while in AMF mode. This not only more accurately captures the operator's intent and ensures cohesive visual storytelling, but it also greatly increases on-set efficiency by minimising disruptions from focus mode changes.

The Best of Both Worlds with a Dynamic Focus

The creative possibilities are endless thanks to the innovative AMF feature. AMF mode produces a focus experience that is as dynamic and elegant as it is effective and practical when combined with human intervention from the LiDAR. The experience is a smooth hybrid that blends the strength and dependability of technology with the human operators' creativity and intuition.

For narrative scenes, the AMF focus transition can be achieved by rotating the dial.
For scenes with foreground obstructions, AMF focus lock can be achieved by pressing and holding the dial steady.

Helping to Focus Using an Up-Top View

Cinematographers can use the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor to get a bird's-eye view of the entire scene and get a more intuitive understanding of a subject's spatial position by utilising the LiDAR Waveform focus assistance.

To assess the autofocus status and determine the best time for manual intervention, LiDAR Waveform also provides additional information such as subject position, a real-time focal plane reference line, and distance scale.
