FlightHub 2 is DJI's cloud platform for running drone operations rather than processing their output. Plan missions, watch live streams from the aircraft, coordinate pilots across sites, and generate live 2D maps while a flight is still in progress, all from a browser. It is also the operational backbone of any DJI Dock deployment.
What FlightHub 2 Does
- Fly multiple aircraft remotely through Virtual Cockpit, without a pilot physically present at each site.
- Plan missions in 3D with immersive route editing for patrol, inspection, and mapping, seeing exactly what the aircraft will capture before it launches.
- Watch live with mission livestreams, real-time telemetry, and panorama photos synced to the cloud as they're taken.
- Generate maps mid-flight, producing RGB or infrared orthomosaics while the aircraft is still airborne rather than waiting for post-processing.
- Coordinate a team through Live Annotations, shared dashboards, and synchronised team positions, so office and field work from the same picture.
- Detect and count automatically using built-in algorithms and a multimodal language model that interprets what it's looking for rather than needing every object type pre-trained.
Live Mapping During Flight
FlightHub 2 builds a 2D orthomosaic while the aircraft is still flying, which matters most in incident response, where a commander needs a current picture of a scene now rather than an accurate one in three hours. The global 2.5D base map underneath means missions can be planned against real terrain from a desk.
Required for Dock Deployments
Automated missions on a DJI Dock 3 are scheduled, monitored, and reviewed entirely through FlightHub 2. It isn't an optional add-on for dock operators, it's the software the dock runs on. If you're buying a dock, budget for a FlightHub 2 licence alongside it.

How is the licence delivered?
As a digital code, emailed as soon as your order is processed. No physical product ships.
How long do I have to activate the code?
Activation windows are limited and vary by licence type, so don't buy months ahead of when you'll use it. Check the current window with our team before ordering if there's likely to be a delay between purchase and deployment.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Refunds are generally available if the service has not been activated within thirty calendar days of shipment. Once activated, the licence cannot be refunded, replaced, or transferred to another organisation, so it's worth confirming the right tier before activating rather than after.
What's the difference between FlightHub 2 and DJI Terra?
FlightHub 2 manages the flight: planning, live streaming, telemetry, fleet coordination. Terra processes the data afterwards into maps, models, and point clouds. Many operations run both, using FlightHub 2 to fly and Terra to process.
Do I need FlightHub 2 for a Dock 3?
Yes. Dock missions are scheduled and monitored entirely through the platform, so it's a required part of a dock deployment.
Is there a free version?
DJI offers a Standard version with limited functionality. Whether it covers your operation depends on fleet size and which features you need, so call us before assuming either way.
What if I need more than one year, or a shorter term?
A 1 Month licence is available for short projects or trialling the platform. For multi-year or larger deployments, call us for a quote rather than ordering online.
Can I get this on finance?
Ltd companies can spread the cost with iwocaPay, and individual buyers can use Klarna or Clearpay at checkout.
