Vehicle-Mounted Deployment
The Dock 3 is the first in the range built for mobile installation, supporting in-transit charging and data transfer. For search and rescue, disaster response, or long-distance corridor inspection, that means the launch point moves with the team rather than dictating where the team can work. Fixed installation remains fully supported too, on a concrete base, steel frame, load-bearing frame, or direct ground mount.
Dual-Dock Continuous Operations
Installing two docks at a single site lets one aircraft rotate between them, so a mission can begin while the previous aircraft is still charging. Combined with cloud scheduling through DJI FlightHub 2, this supports genuinely uninterrupted coverage without on-site personnel.
Rapid Turnaround and Quick Takeoff
Quick takeoff means the aircraft is ready to fly as soon as the cover opens, roughly a ten-second sequence from command to airborne. Charging runs at 35V DC, taking the aircraft battery from 15% to 95% in 27 minutes at 25°C, which sets the practical minimum interval between two consecutive operations.
Built for Extreme Conditions
Rated IP56 for dust and water ingress, with a compressor-based air conditioning system that both heats and cools rather than simply venting. The dock operates from -30°C to 50°C, tolerates landing wind speeds up to 12 m/s, and functions at altitudes up to 4,500m.
Transmission and Extended Range
O4+ Enterprise transmission runs through nine built-in antennas in a 2T4R configuration with intelligent switching. Under CE regulations, which apply in the UK, maximum transmission distance is 12km (25km under FCC). For fixed deployments needing greater reach, pairing with the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version extends operational range and improves takeoff and landing reliability in complex environments such as high-rise areas or remote sites.
Onboard Monitoring and Security
Integrated sensors track wind speed, rainfall, ambient temperature, water immersion, and in-cabin conditions, feeding environmental data back before a launch decision is made. Dual 1920×1080 security cameras, one internal and one external, cover 151° with auxiliary white light for visibility at night.
Centimetre-Level Positioning
The built-in RTK module receives GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS simultaneously, delivering 1cm+1ppm horizontal and 2cm+1ppm vertical accuracy (RMS), with cloud-based RTK calibration handled through DJI FlightHub 2.

Does this listing include the drone?
No. This is the docking station only. You'll need a Matrice 4D or Matrice 4TD separately, or one of our combined Dock 3 and aircraft bundles.
Which aircraft work with the Dock 3?
The Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD onlly. Earlier Matrice models, including the Matrice 3D Series used with the Dock 2, are not compatible.
Whats the actual transmission range in the UK?
12km under CE regulations. The 25km figure widely quoted is the FCC maximum, which applies in the United States rather than here.
Can it really be mounted on a vehicle?
Yes, and this is the first DJI dock to support it. In-transit charging and data transfer are supported, and two docks can be mounted on a single vehicle for continuous dual-aircraft rotation.
What happens during a power cut?
The 12Ah backup battery sustains dock operation for over four hours. Note that aircraft charging,air conditioning,cover heating, and wind gauge heating are all suspended while on backup power, so mains supply should be restored promptly.
Do i need a service plan?
Yes. DJI requires the Dock 3 to be supplied with a service plan. Our team will talk through Repair Plus and Protect Plus options and confirm the right term for your deployment.
What warranty comes with the Dock 3?
As an official DJI Enterprise A-Rank retailer, we offer 24 months warranty.
