Emlid Reach RS3 RTK Receiver
A rugged RTK GNSS receiver with IMU-based tilt compensation, built for survey-grade accuracy without needing to level the pole. Ideal for building corners, boundary work, and hard-to-reach points where standing perfectly upright isn't always possible.
Why the RS3

Effortless, Robust Tilt Compensation
Each unit is factory-calibrated individually, so tilt compensation works straight out of the box with no manual setup. It's unaffected by magnetic fields, holding accuracy even working close to metal structures where other tilt systems can drift. Initialisation takes about 20 metres of walking or 10-20 seconds of tilting, typically ready by the time you've walked from the car to the site.
RINEX Logging and PPK/PPP Support
Record raw data in RINEX format for post-processing, using Emlid's free Emlid Studio software or any other RINEX-compatible tool. Logs are also compatible with OPUS, AUSPOS, and PPP services, useful for getting highly accurate results anywhere in the world without a local base station. With 16GB of internal storage, that's over 160 days of logging at 1Hz before running out of space.
Your First Year of RTK Corrections Is Included
Emlid Corrections comes built into the receiver, VRS-based RTK with 1-2cm accuracy and zero configuration, no base station and no NTRIP setup required. After the first year, continued coverage runs at $699/year, or lock in three years for $1,199 total, backed by a full refund if you're not satisfied.
Connectivity: NTRIP, LTE, LoRa, and UHF
- Run NTRIP RTK with VRS or single-baseline CORS networks, or connect another GNSS receiver as your own NTRIP base via Emlid NTRIP Caster.
- Broadcast or receive over cellular using the built-in LTE modem, insert a Nano-SIM and get corrections without relying on a phone or tablet's data connection.
- Use the included LoRa antenna (868/915MHz, up to 8km line-of-sight) for direct Reach-to-Reach communication with no internet needed.
- Receive corrections over UHF (410-470MHz, TRIMTALK 450S compatible) from an existing base broadcasting on that protocol, useful for mixing Reach receivers into an existing fleet. Note: this requires a separate 410-470MHz antenna, not included in the box.

Emlid Flow handles receiver configuration, RINEX logging, data collection, stakeout, and team collaboration, with basic features free for all users. Emlid Flow 360 keeps a team in sync between field and office with real-time data sharing, and Emlid Studio provides free kinematic and static post-processing, RTK drone data processing, and raw data analysis on macOS and Windows. Emlid Caster connects up to 10 rovers to a base station over the internet, or sets up a private NTRIP network.

What's the difference between the RS3 and the RS4?
The RS4 adds the more interference-resistant L5/L6 frequency bands, a much higher 672-channel tracking count, an IP68 rating, a wider -40°C operating range, and full transmit/receive UHF radio built in. The RS3 remains a capable, more affordable option for buyers who don't need that extended performance.
Do I still need the RTK Network Subscription if Emlid Corrections is included?
Worth checking with our team before ordering, since the RS3 already includes a year of Emlid's own RTK correction service. Whether our standard RTK Network Subscription inclusion adds genuine extra value on top depends on your specific workflow and coverage area.
Does the RS3 come with a UHF antenna?
No. The box includes a LoRa antenna as standard, but UHF reception needs a separate 410-470MHz antenna, sold separately.
Can the RS3 use a SIM card for corrections?
Yes, it has a built-in LTE modem with a Nano-SIM slot, letting it broadcast or receive NTRIP corrections over cellular directly, without relying on a paired phone or tablet.
