DJI RC Plus 2 sub2G SDR Module
A rear-mounted expansion module that adds 902-928MHz and 1.4GHz transmission bands to the RC Plus 2 Enterprise Enhanced, on top of its standard frequencies. Lower frequencies penetrate buildings, terrain, and foliage more effectively than higher ones, extending genuinely reliable command and control range in the environments that cause the most dropped connections.
Important: Regulatory Authorisation Required
Sub-2GHz operation is only usable with the appropriate radio licence and authorisation from your local regulatory authority. This isn't a plug-in-and-go feature everywhere, permitted frequencies and power limits vary by country. Why Lower Frequencies Matter
Standard O4 transmission performs well in open, unobstructed conditions, but higher frequencies lose strength faster when passing through solid obstacles. Shifting part of the link down to sub-2GHz bands keeps the connection more stable in exactly the conditions that break it: dense urban environments, wooded terrain, and industrial sites with heavy structural interference. For infrastructure inspection, long-range survey, or public safety work in built-up areas, that's the difference between a reliable link and one that drops out mid-mission.
