The coaxial cable retention screws are specifically there to stop the cable loosening under flight vibration, and the hex key doubles as the tool for pressing the Manifold 3's reset button, so no extra tools are needed for either installation or basic troubleshooting once fitted.

No, this kit is specific to the Matrice 4D and 4TD connector geometry. A different kit is required for the standard Matrice 4E and 4T.
Will fitting this affect the aircraft's IP rating?
It can, if the coaxial cable screws aren't fully tightened during installation. Follow the fitting instructions carefully.
