DJI E-Port V2 Development Kit

Converts the Matrice 400's E-Port V2 into standard hardware interfaces, USB, UART, CAN, PWM, and regulated power rails, so engineers can connect third-party sensors, companion computers, and custom electronics without designing proprietary connectors or soldering directly into the aircraft.

Built for SDK Development, Not General Payload Fitting

This is a development and prototyping tool, not a standard payload mounting accessory. It's aimed at engineers building custom sensors, lighting, speakers, or other bespoke equipment for the Matrice 400 using DJI's Payload SDK, and at businesses integrating specialised third-party hardware rather than fitting an off-the-shelf DJI payload. If you're looking to mount a standard Zenmuse payload, this isn't the product you need.

Standard Interfaces From a Proprietary Port

The Matrice 400 carries four E-Port V2 connectors, each providing 120W of single-port power. This kit breaks that proprietary interface out into standard connectors, USB 2.0/3.0, UART, CAN, PWM, and regulated XT30 power rails, so custom hardware can connect directly without a bespoke interface board being designed from scratch. An onboard MCU handles the conversion, and full technical documentation is included to support SDK development and debugging.

Important Power and Safety Notes

When using all three XT30 power output ports simultaneously, total output power must stay below the aircraft's maximum single-port output, always design payloads within the specified limits rather than assuming full simultaneous draw is available. If integrating the board into a finished payload, a heat sink and metal enclosure should be designed in. If you notice sparks, smoke, a burning smell, or any other abnormality after powering on, switch off immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need this to fit a standard DJI payload?

No. Standard Zenmuse payloads connect directly to the Matrice 400's E-Port V2 without this kit. This is specifically for developing and integrating custom, non-standard hardware.

What's the difference between this and the E-Port V2 Coaxial Cable Kit?

This is the full development board with breakout interfaces and power rails, built for active hardware development. The Coaxial Cable Kit is a simpler cabling accessory rather than a development tool. Confirm with our team which one your project actually needs.

Do I need coding experience to use this?

Yes, this is aimed at developers and system integrators working with DJI's Payload SDK, not a plug-and-play consumer accessory.

Can I power multiple devices from the XT30 outputs at once?

Yes, but total combined power draw across all three ports must stay below the aircraft's maximum single-port output. Design your payload within those limits.

What warranty comes with it?

As an official DJI retailer, we offer 24 months warranty on this product. Our team can confirm specific coverage before you buy.

Can I get this on finance?

Ltd companies can access iwocaPay financing, and individual buyers can use Klarna or Clearpay at checkout.
