Drone LUTs: Cinematic Colour Grading for Your Aerial Footage

A LUT, short for Look Up Table, transforms flat, log-profile footage into a finished cinematic look with a single click. Instead of manually adjusting gamma, black levels, and colour space on every clip, a LUT applies a consistent, professional grade across your whole edit in seconds.

Drone Safe Store's Ultimate Drone LUT Pack contains 181 individual LUTs, delivered digitally the same day, ready to drop into whichever editor you already use.

£29.99

  • Apply 181 individual LUTs, covering a wide range of looks and moods for aerial and general footage
  • Download just 400MB total, small enough to grab in seconds and keep permanently on any machine
  • Use in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and most other platforms that support .cube files
  • Apply as many times as you like, on unlimited projects, once purchased

Why Record in Log First

LUTs are built around log colour profiles such as D-Log and D-Cinelike, which capture flat, deliberately low-contrast footage to preserve the maximum dynamic range at the point of capture. Applying a LUT afterwards restores contrast and colour in a controlled, consistent way, giving a far stronger result than shooting in a standard colour profile and trying to grade it after the fact.

If your drone or camera supports a log picture profile, shooting in it and applying a LUT afterwards will get noticeably more out of the footage than skipping straight to standard colour.

How Delivery Works

The pack is sent digitally by email, arriving as a set of .cube files ready to import directly into your editor of choice. No physical product ships, so there's nothing to wait on beyond the download itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a LUT?

A Look Up Table, a preset that transforms footage from a flat, unedited look to a finished cinematic grade in one click, applying consistent gamma, colour, and contrast adjustments across your timeline.

Do I need to shoot in a specific colour profile?

LUTs work best with footage recorded in a log profile such as D-Log or D-Cinelike, which preserves more dynamic range at capture. Footage shot in standard colour can still be graded, but will not respond the same way.

What software do the LUTs work with?

Any editor that supports .cube files, including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.

How is the pack delivered?

Digitally, by email, as a 400MB download containing all 181 LUTs as .cube files.

Can I use the LUTs on more than one project?

Yes. Once purchased, the pack is yours to use on unlimited projects going forward.

Does it come with a warranty?

As a digital product, standard consumer warranty terms don't apply in the usual sense, contact us directly if you have an issue with your download.
