Are Osmo Action accessories cross-compatible between generations?
Largely, yes. The Action 6, 5 Pro, and 4 share the quick-release mounting system, so most mounts and cases carry over. Batteries are the main exception and should be matched to the generation. Call us to confirm before ordering.
Which microphone works with my Osmo camera?
Recent Osmo cameras connect directly to DJI Mic transmitters via OsmoAudio with no receiver needed. The Mic Mini 2 is the compact option and the Mic 3 adds 32-bit float and timecode. Note that first-generation DJI Mic is not supported on the newest models.
Do I need ND filters?
For video, they make a genuine difference, slowing the shutter in bright conditions for natural motion blur rather than a stuttering look. Freewell makes sets cut specifically for each Osmo camera.
Will an old Osmo Pocket accessory fit my Pocket 4?
Not always. Some accessories are generation-specific. The Freewell Pocket 4/3 filters fit both, but call us with your exact model to confirm anything else.
