DJI's smallest wireless microphone system now records internally as well as transmitting live, closing the one gap that held the original Mic Mini back. Each 12g transmitter carries 14.5GB of onboard storage, recording up to 28 hours of 24-bit audio independently of the receiver, so a dropped wireless connection no longer means lost audio. A single receiver pairs with up to four transmitters simultaneously, a capability previously reserved for DJI's flagship Mic 3, at a fraction of the price.

No. Each transmitter records internally to its own 14.5GB of storage, independent of any receiver connection. A receiver is only needed for live wireless transmission to a camera or phone.
Can I mix Mic Mini 2S transmitters with older Mic Mini units?
Yes, the receiver supports up to four transmitters simultaneously and is compatible across Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2, and Mic Mini 2S generations.
What's the wireless range?
Up to 400m using the standard camera-style receiver. Range drops to around 300m in green light mode and 200m in blue light mode when using the Mobile Receiver.
Does it work with my phone directly?
Yes, via USB-C, Lightning, or direct Bluetooth connection, and it also pairs natively with select Osmo devices without needing a receiver at all.
