The Osmo Pocket 4 puts a 1-inch CMOS sensor on a 3-axis mechanical gimbal in a body that fits a jacket pocket. Mechanical stabilisation moves the camera itself rather than cropping the frame, which is why Pocket footage stays smooth without the digital wobble that electronic stabilisation leaves behind.
A 2-inch rotatable touchscreen switches between horizontal and vertical framing, and the camera rotates with it, so vertical content is captured at full resolution rather than cropped from a landscape frame.
